Yesterday, I read on Jack's daily sheet from school that they were learning about St. Patrick's Day and all things associated with the holiday. When I asked Jack about what he learned at school, here's how our conversation went:
Me: Jack, what did you learn about at school today?
Jack: Pot o' gold!
Me: Wow! Did you learn about leprechauns?
Jack: No.
Me: Did you learn about shamrocks or rainbows?
Jack: No.
Me: Oh, what else did you learn about?
Jack: Pot o' gold!
At least he's got his priorities in order. Rest assured, today the daily sheet described the leprechaun masks that the kids made in preparation for their St. Patrick's Day celebration. I can't wait to see how Jack's turned out!
