They Say the Darndest Things...

Jack and Daddy spent lots of extra time together this weekend since I was so sick.  Daddy showed Jack how to use his "man toys" to build the shelving units for our storage room.  While Jack was busy working away, Brad apparently had a reflective moment, thinking about how he'd thought he'd have two boys to build with one day and said, "I thought I was going to get to do this all over again, Buddy."

Jack quickly looked up from his work saying, "It's okay, Daddy.  We'll do it again another time."

Brought tears to Daddy's eyes, that one did:)
